- We could well need help with 1st and 2nd year classes. We will be using python/pygame and perhaps quake 3 in my classes. I'll fill out a contract form for Dr Beeby to sign - I need to do this for 2 others anyway for other areasof teaching. What's yous home address?
I intend to get the teaching allocations sorted out by end June. I suggest you take whatever we have as you know way more than the students and it is good for them to see that we find things hard too. I'll get back to you once this looks good. I'll probably do i online in a wiki to allow others to comment on the proposed teaching.
Lots of words, but it does reflect we are in a transition post-Steve McG leaving and with 250 offers out there for 1st and 2nd year entry, and crap computers needing replaced, and games moving onto non-standard devices, we need to have a rolling plan in place. I hope I can find a slot for you to help.
Annoy the colleges who teach games too: Reid Kerr, James Watt, Stow, etc. They might have some part-time teaching available too. It does no harm to ask.
