Steady on. Isn't it incitement to existential prejudice if you call them "mythical"? :)

WIFI Settings

Does anyone know of any sure fire way of connecting to the Uni Wifi as it seems to be hit and miss with some people and totally fails with others. I have heard it mentioned you need specific proxies in place? Anyone have the information in regards to that?

cheers

Thoughts of a 3rd Year CGD Student

So i came to uni with a single desire to get a simple computing degree and then go do some teaching, as the years have gone that idea has deflated like a balloon left to its own devices.
Since being here i have switched course every year, starting in Computing Science, then being attracted by the shiny lights of the CGT course and then finally getting sick of C++ and switching to CGD where the grass it turns out is greener and the Java and Flash roam free.
Prior to contrary belief CGD is not CGT… Continue

actually - text me your details on 07882226569. I am uncomfortable with personald etails on this website. (It may be surfed by the widow of the late general Mbubunchacha of Nigeria who is seeking just such details in order to clear the sum of $12,300,000 which her late husband managed to secrete from the country before his untimely death blah blah ...)

Session 2008-9 Semester 1
Coursework 1 - Analysing Video Games

Student: B00105397 Jonathan Barron
Overall Grade: B2 (57%)
Comments:
* overall - enthusiastic and easy-to read reviews; I would have liked more depth of feelings on the games that would make those reading the reviews feel how they might feel, that is, a bit more objectivity and less ‘I’; I know, this is tough, but great reviews stand beside the reader rather than invite the reader to stand beside the reviewer. However, clear and well-done.
* fair comment on the losing of data; as info professionals we will always lose data, but must stand ready to reflect upon such losses
* defcon - some spelling errors ‘likely’, ‘tendency’, ‘strategy’; mebbes put an online ref for the movie Wargames;
* ssx - good being open about likes and dislikes and the exceptions; mmm, if there is no plot then dump the ‘plot’ section IMHO
* Zelda - good to ref your imagery in the reviews (as you did!); good
* Sonic - again, some spelling - ‘competitors’
* duck hunt - again, spelling - ‘boy’; good point about the controller
* crysis - as for most other reviews, a lack of ref for imagery; this one get’s quite well into the feelings of the player - is this due to the newness of the game over older games? perhaps the visual realism?
