unity textures and material 1 Reply

I was wondering if anyone knew any good websites to get free textures and materials for unity such as trees and buildings?

But it does mean you can do your projects with Unity on Android or iPhone... and if you do want to release your project commercially, then you can buy the full version.

Of course, please remember this doesn't give you the right to use Unity Pro for commercial purposes, as stated in their license agreement: (c) Discounted academic versions of Unity or Unity Pro may only be licensed by educational institutions for use by their students and staff. The license is granted for learning purposes and may not be used for publishing commercial content.

Cheap Unity 3D Pro for students (Sign up before you graduate?) - from email:

Great news!

We heard your feedback and we are now making Unity Pro products available on an annualized basis to eligible University and High School students around the world for about the cost of a text book.

Please pass on the following link(s) to those students that would like to take advantage of this special pricing:

Highlighted in red. Have the object selected and press the above button. A Sphere will appear click on the coloured lines to rotate on that axis.

I'd recommend it.  I'll post a video of my results at some point.

Tim O'Connell, game design student in Wales, is looking for a Unity3D developer who wants to work with him on a project. He can be contacted at his my page on the TuDocs.org website. BTW, he did the video on the front page.

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9355226/UnitySetup-2.6.1.exe

This one will be available most of the time but is the single .exe with no problems of download limits or zip problems
