'Where's your URL?' Digital Media employers bang on that you must have a client/employer-facing e-portfolio. They want to access a really nice site. Who knows where yours is? What does a really nice site look like?

A group of UWS staff - Dr Muzz (serial entrepreneur/student helper), Martin Smith (games marketing PhD student/student helper) and myself (serial entrepreneur/lecturer) - have devised a solution: TuDocs.biz.

Here you can store your e-portfolios, all in the same place, attracting employers, entrepreneurs, publishers, etc. You can write HTML code, store images, videos, and hyper-links to your other work. Keeping your e-portfolio top-notch and bang up to date. You can check out other people's pages and TuDocs.biz will list the best pages as examples.

TuDocs.biz is a real commercial site with clear and straightforward legal doo-dahs. The site is free to list at and use - we are paying the tab.

The more students who list, the better your page, the more employers and producers we can attract, and direct their work needs to you.

TuDocs.biz launches at the Creative Choices Festival in March So, start posting your work today at TuDocs.biz! The first listers get into the highlighted First Fifty Founders group!

Shell LiveWire is a rare thing: an enterprise group run by the private sector. So, IMHO much more real than some others. DO register at http://www.shell-livewire.org/.

At the least there is a really useful section on setting up small businesses. One piece of advice: be very cautious about discussing your business idea in any such public forum. Lurk & listen a lot, speak little.

Plus Were happy to foster new development, our main business isn't games (though were trying to change this) so if you want some more organisation and structure to what your doing also let me know, We currently do our software under the name Black Dragon Studios, which is just finishing some local educational games for local schools after about 3 years at the moment, but were currently looking at doing our first proper game type game (M)MORTS and possibly upping our level with educational games with an up to 4 player networked RPG (think learning to spell/read while playing a more child friendly WoW and a bit of harry potter/LOTR mixed in) So if you have a cool idea and want to become Black Dragon north, or just have some advice for what your doing we would be happy to help.

If you want to get technical, Kodetank has been around for a few years and released a few titles including 2 commercial NDS games :P

Well...maybe not first... us at Pirate Games, who started two years ago, are inching closer every day to a release build of the Pandora launch title PandoraPanic (a WarioWare style mini-game collection)
