Comment by Andrew Marshall on May 13, 2011 at 11:26 Regrettably, due to time and health issues, I am going to have to pull down the shutters on this module. I had hoped to give students time to review their submissions based on my marking and feedback, but I have decided that this is not the best use of limited resources to achieve, maybe, a 5% upgrade in a mark.
Instead I have decided that we will publish the best essays as Technical Reports. These will be made available on-line and distributed to games companies, the games press, government agencies and the wider press at no cost. This will increase your work's visibility, and is worth far more than a few marks in an exam board.
As such I am looking for a few volunteers to help with this task and to be the members of an Editorial Board. Again, this too will look good on a CV. The board will select essays, ensure they are formatted consistently, decide on distribution, publication dates, etc.
I will be setting up a new group soon. If you are interested in being part you can apply to join the group here on WoSGamers.
